Mission Statement:SeyFA, the Seychelles Farmers’ Association is a non-profit organization registered on the 15th October 2002, initiated by a small group of livestock farmers who felt the need to educate themselves and fellow farmers to lobby and advocate for their common interests and rights.

  SeyFA is affiliated to the Liaison Office for Non-Governmental Organization, a regional board member of the East and Southern African Farmers Forum (ESAFF), member of the Southern African Confederation of Agricultural Unions (SACAU) and a member of Development Cooperation Committee of the International Federation of Agricultural Producers (IFAP).Seychelles farmers Association (SeyFA) was originally formed in 2002 as a platform for livestock farmers in Seychelles. However following strong interests by other crop farmers to become part, the constitution was amended in 2003.

Mission:To promote and strengthen effective national farmers’ organization and to be the main voice of the farmers on national, regional and global matters.
